Hattie: Our Beautiful Mother

Lori: I asked Aunt Molly what her mama's favorite flowers were and she said, "she liked lilacs, yellow roses, and just about any outdoor flower that would grow among us kids."

A story from Molly: One day Hattie went to the store, during this time, money was very scarce. The woman working in the store asked Hattie if she had a name for the baby that she was carrying and Hattie said, no.  The woman said if she named the baby Molly after her, she would give her some pretty cloth to make some dresses. Hattie named the baby Molly Belle.
