Joe: My grandparents rock house in Western Grove is still standing and in pretty good condition.  The people that live there now have been real nice and every four years, we stop there and look at the house and they have always invited us in and give us a complete tour of the house. (1986)

I must have been in about the 2nd or 3rd grade when we started to Western Grove School--then we got to ride the school bus.  By that time grandma and grandpa had built their little cobblestone home near Western Grove and had moved into it, allowing us to move into their home on what was know as the "upper place."
